Casa Marea

Casa Marea

It is the house where I live from October to May.

It is the house where I live from October to May.

I had it renovated in 2021, not so much as a holiday home, but as my home, as the realization of a many year dream: living in front of the sea.

It has a beautiful living room with kitchenette equipped with hob, oven, 335-litre Whirlpool combined fridge, microwave oven and small appliances such as toaster, blender, kettle, mixer and, of course, everything needed to cook, from dishes to pots and coffee makers.

Table and chairs, sideboard, 55″ smart TV and sofa bed.
Immediately after the entrance door there is the first bathroom, with a comfortable built-in shower, and a Candy washing machine from 2022.

Then there are the 2 double bedrooms: one with a double bed and a bunk bed for adults, a six-door wardrobe with mirror; the second with double bed, chest of drawers and the second ensuite bathroom and with a French window overlooking the bioclimatic greenhouse where, on rainy days, you can lie down on the second sofa bed and enjoy the storm and the wavy sea or where you can have breakfast at the sunrise.

  • Terrace of over 130 square meters, sea view, overhanging the garden, organized with sun beds, beach umbrella, breakfast table, barbecue.

  • Next to the terrace there is a passage with an external sink for washing fish, for example; immediately after the hot and cold outdoor shower to rinse off the sand when returning from the beach before entering the house.

  • The passage leads to the shaded patio in front of the entrance door, of about 25 m2, with table and chairs for outdoor lunches and dinners.

  • From the patio, an iron staircase leads to the terraced roof, the flat roof typical of these houses, from where you can admire the sea and all the greenery that surrounds the property.

  • Each room is equipped with air conditioning and a ceiling fan.

  • You will also find a welcome kit which includes water in the fridge; oil, vinegar and salt; kitchen paper; dish detergent; detergent and softener for the washing machine, as well as the normal supply of liquid soap and toilet paper in the bathrooms and, depending on the season, a nice basket of 0 km products (i.e. picked in my garden) such as figs, apricots, mulberries and pears.

  • I have also prepared a short guide for practical use of the house (wifi, separate waste collection, shops nearby, supermarkets for weekly shopping, local fruit and vegetables, restaurants and bars nearby).

  • We provide sheets and towels on request for a fee because many people prefer to bring their own linen.
But they are available, just ask.
